Senior Leadership Team Support 


Paraparaumu College is a proudly co-educational school of around 1,500 students situated on the beautiful Kāpiti Coast. We enjoy a spacious campus with a growing roll, an innovative approach to learning, and a commitment to achieving the highest equitable outcomes for our students.

We are currently seeking an experienced administrator to support our Senior Leadership Team (SLT).  This role is varied and would suit someone who enjoys using their skills and experience to not only become our resident expert with our student management system (KAMAR) and school policies (SchoolDocs) but is as comfortable helping to resolve timetabling challenges as they are providing support with events and administration.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position working as part of our friendly support staff team. 

Key duties and areas of responsibility will include working closely alongside SLT members and:

  • taking a lead role with KAMAR and associated processes including timetabling and student record management, course selection, data analysis and reporting
  • assisting with planning and logistics for a range of events including prizegivings, open evenings, parent teacher interviews and orientation activities
  • managing the review, revision and assurance processes related to our suite of school policies
  • providing a range of administrative support functions in a variety of areas to ensure the school functions efficiently.

This is a busy role and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully providing a wide range of support services, ideally in a school environment. Advanced computer literacy skills are essential preferably in Microsoft applications, Google platform, spreadsheets, databases and online and web based environments.

International Support & Groups Coordinator


Paraparaumu College is a proudly co-educational school of around 1,500 students situated on the beautiful Kāpiti Coast. We enjoy a spacious campus with a growing roll, an innovative approach to learning, and a commitment to achieving the highest equitable outcomes for our students.

We are currently seeking an experienced administrator to offer additional support to our thriving International Office. This is a permanent position of 22 hours per week (with some flexibility), term time only, with additional hours during international group visits.

The International Support and Groups Coordinator will work closely with the International Director to provide administrative services to support our international students and families. This role is responsible for producing newsletters for agents, students and homestay families; preparing international student reports; supporting the planning and delivery of extra-curricular activities, pre-arrival and departures; updating the international pages on the college website, supporting our international students to ensure that have a positive experience, as well as coordinating groups while they are visiting the College.

Key attributes required for this role include excellent people and communication skills, organisation and administration ability, cultural awareness and empathy, good IT knowledge and computer skills particularly on the Google platform and familiarity with NZ schooling and curriculum.
